Tire Discounters anticipates opening locations in Mt. Juliet, Smyrna, Bellevue, Hendersonville and Brentwood in the first half of 2014. With at least a dozen locations planned for the Nashville region over the next 15 months, Tire Discounters will be hiring more than 120 Nashville area residents to operate their stores.
Each new location will feature a clean, comfortable showroom with clear views of the shop area so customers can watch their vehicles being repaired. Customers can also monitor the work being performed on their cars through live video feeds in the waiting room. Patrons will also have access to complimentary Wi-Fi, a refreshment bar, and six television screens to further enrich their customer experience.
Environmentally Conscious Construction and Operations
Tire Discounters sets high, eco-friendly standards in both store construction and ongoing store operations. Construction includes the use of energy-efficient glass throughout the store and recycled rubber materials in landscaping. The store is outfitted with LED lighting and light reflecting roofing, which help to reduce energy costs while providing a brilliantly lit space for customers and associates.
Tire Discounters’ other green initiatives include recycled oil and tire programs as well as nitrogen tire inflation, which significantly extends the life of tires, creates fuel efficiency, and cuts down on emissions.
